Skills Needed
Cast on, knit, purl, KFB (knit 1 front and back), K2tog (knit 2 together), bind off.

S (32" bust)
M (36" bust)
L (40" bust)
Gauge
18 sts in stockinette = 4"
Materials
4 (4, 5) skeins of Caron Simply Soft Shadows (150 yds, 3 oz. each)
1 US 9, 29" circular needle
1 US 8, 11" circular needle
4 stitch markers, one a different color than the others
1 darning needle
1 scissors
Scrap yarn or stitch holders

M = marker
Pm = place marker
Slm = slip marker
Notes
Sweater is worked from the top down.
This is an extremely basic, top-down raglan design. It can be easily modified to suit your personal preferences.
Instructions
(Size Small will come first, followed by Medium and Large in parentheses, if different amounts are specified.)
Begin with smaller needles, and switch to larger needles when needed.
CO 82 (100, 118) sts on smaller needles. Join without twisting and pm of different color to mark beg of rnd.
Work 1" of (K1, P1) ribbing.
Yoke
Raglan Set-Up Rnd: K27 (35, 41), pm, K14 (15, 18), pm, K27 (35, 41), pm, K14 (15, 18).
The sets of sts in red are the sleeve sts.
Raglan Rnd 1: *K to 1 st before m, KFB, slm*, KFB. Rep between ** 2 more times. Then, rep, omitting last KFB.
Raglan Rnd 2: K.
Rep last 2 rnds 21 (21, 23) times, a total of 44 (44, 46) raglan rnds.
Separate Sleeves from Body: K to first m, place sleeve sts on scrap yarn holder. K and place other set of sleeve sts on another holder. Two stitch markers remain: one at the beg, and one at the halfway point.
Body
Rnds 1 and 2: K.
Rnd 3: K to 2 sts before each m, (KFB) twice, slm, (KFB) twice, K.
Work in st st for 1.5" from underarms.
Rnd 1: K, (KFB) once before each marker.
Work in st st until 2" from underarms.
Ribbing Rnds 1-4: (K1, P1) throughout rnd, (K2tog) once before each marker.
Continue in (K1, P1) without K2togs for 3.5" of ribbing.
Work in st st for 5.5" from bottom of ribbing.
Next Rnd: (K1, P1) for 0.5".
BO loosely in patt.
Sleeves (Make 2)
Transfer sts from one holder to smaller needles. Join, without twisting, and pm.
Work 5 rnds of (K1, P1) ribbing.
BO loosely in patt.
Rep for second sleeve.
Finishing
Sew underarm holes closed. Weave in all ends.

Hi,
Thank you for posting this sweater. I”m working on it right now in a pretty pink yarn. This is my first raglan and I have a question. Do we on the yoke do a KFB in front of and behind the first stitch? I have 4 markers, marking before the first stitch and the other three you mentioned and I’m only doing one KFB before that first marker instead of two. Is that right?
